Tried 3 other brands - this is the best I tried - I have tried 3 different brands of aerobic sneakers and none of them felt good while doing aerobics. These Avia's are the best so far. Love the cushioned heal. However, I'm still looking for the perfect pair.

Sore toes - This is the first pair of Avia's that hurt my feet. They rub my little toes. I wore them out since I had never had a pair of Avia's hurt or need "broken in" before, so now I can't return them. I have had the same Avia in the past but it was very comfortable.
Not as good as before. I have ordered Avia before and I thought they were great. This time the quality was not there. Not very much support.
Comfortable for walking and running - I use these at the gym and they are very comfortable and look great with black yoga pants all year long.
Good walking shoes - I have Avias in white and wanted a darker color for winter. Can't be found in stores where I live, but Zappos came through. These are good looking and very comfortable.
Excellent - After reading the positive reviews, I purchased these shoes as a gift for my husband. He opened his gift and didn’t seem thrilled as he had no input in the purchase at all. Since receiving them, he hasn’t taken them off. The arch support is excellent and after wearing them on the ultimate test (Disneyland) his knees never ached. He is not an avid runner, because of knee issues, but is actually starting to talk about taking long walks again. I couldn’t be happier with his response to these shoes.
Great shoe for a great price - I really love the Avia brand because I can always count on them for a consistent fit, and this shoe was no exception. It felt comfortable right out of the box and needed no "breaking in" period. I bought it in white - it's an attractive looking shoe that goes well with all of my casual wear. Very pleased with this purchase.
My favorite walking shoe - I have tried many brands (I am an active senior) and the Avia A330W is the most comfortable walking and health club shoe I have found. This is my second pair and they run true to fit and cut. They take some getting used to because of the arch bar, but they break in quickly. I have a high arch and this shoe really fits me. I also find that they have ample toe room and yet fit my somewhat narrow heel. I do wish they were a bit more durable (seam came apart after a year of heavy wear). I am now thinking of getting them in black. Of course they look like sport shoes and will not appeal to kids who want sparkle current style.
Avia A330W - I wore avias teaching aerobics, for stability and shock absorption, they are the only shoes I wear. The style is appealing, now being in retail I wear them all day, in complete foot comfort! I recommend Avia, as does my foot doctor, to everyone!
Not as comfortable as I had hoped - The Avia is a well-made shoe that runs true-to-size. The arch rocker support was not as comfortable as I had hoped. It is quite stiff and runs from the arch of the foot outward to the lateral side of the foot which is where the discomfort is if I have been on my feet all day. For just a typical days wear, it is not problematic, just feels a little odd.
What an amazing boot! They're designed well enough to withstand harsh winter weather, while keeping my feet warm, dry, and stylish. These are easily the most comfortable boots I've ever owned, the firmer footbed is covered by a softer insert, providing just enough support for me. The width is an average size, but my narrow ankles seem to slip a bit without thick enough socks. Also, if you need arch support, you might want to get some inserts. They fit perfectly over my athletic calves and jeans, it seems that they'd fit any size leg. They fall about 3-4 inches below the knee for me. If you've got your eye on these boots, I'd highly recommend giving them a try! Thanks to Zappos for the super quick delivery!
Zappos, you are fantastic. I am still always amazed when my order shows up next day. This is the first time I’ve ordered jeans from the site and I couldn’t be happier with them. These jeans are soft and stretchy, the color is also great. I ordered a size down than what I normally wear as William Rast jeans fit larger than usual jeans. I’d highly suggest these jeans... and will continue to keep ordering from Zappos.
Very comfy. These shoes are soooo comfy, I didn't even want to take them off when I was finished working out. They look a little bulky/dorky, so I would never wear them except when at the gym, but they are good for the gym.
Like walking on air! I have a lot of problems with my feet and have a lot of trouble finding shoes that don't hurt. I have bought several pairs of shoes only to wear them for a day or two and have them start to hurt my feet to the point that I can no longer wear them. Avia sneakers are the only sneakers that I can wear. They always fit, give me plenty of support, don't bind or pinch my toes, and they look great! I have tried other sneakers – being "fit" in shoe stores by "professionals" and still have problems. I will only buy Avia walking shoes/sneakers and no other brand!
This shoe is extremely soft and cushiony with support in all the right places. However, it does not fit true to size. I ordered a 9, which seems to be my new normal sneaker size and my big toes were still squished up against the front of the shoe. If you're looking for this sneaker to just barely fit, you may want to go up a half size but if you need a little room for the toesies you may need to go up a full size. The upper is extremely light and thin. In spite of the short length I tried them on the elliptical for about 10 minutes. It wasn't long before the outside of my foot and my 3rd, 4th, and pinky toes became numb...could be due to the size being too small. The numbness is a problem for me anyway, but it was particularly bad in this shoe. The New Balance line seems to give me the least amount of problems in that area.
Comfort right out of the box - These shoes are great. I owned a pair of Avia's aerobic shoes and was using them for running since I have flat feet and a tendency to pronate. These fit perfectly and I ran 3 miles right out of the box with no problems. I wear a 9.5 and these are great, plenty of toe room. Cushioning is good too, firm but not bouncy. I wish they had a black version.
These work well for my son's cross country running - My 11 year old son has Seaver's syndrome, which means that he suffers from severe heel pain. These seem to help with his heel pain and provide a nice rebound so that he doesn't ache after a run. He is a size 7 and the 7 fit perfectly. These, and Reeboks, are the only shoes we have found that seem to have the right combo of heel support, rebounding, and light weight to do the trick and we have tried all the big names.
I have a long narrow foot and it is very difficult to find shoes that are comfortable. This shoe fit great. It is very light weight and I like the radius on the sole. I can wear these shoes all day and my feet don't feel tired.
Great sneaker! This shoe was sized correctly, wide width was generous and truly a wide, nice cushioning. Will definitely get this again. Good arch and heel cup.
